Lisa Pacino born in Brooklyn, New York is a multi-award winning celebrity photojournalist best known for photographing some of the most influential personalities in the world; celebrities, socialites, sports figures, and politicians. Equally stunning is her unrivaled ability to capture extraordinary moments in history with her camera. Lisa’s endless repertoire of photographs include President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Oprah Winfrey, Cher, Dr. Toni Morrison, Dr. Maya Angelou, Ruby Dee, Cicely Tyson, Grace Bumbry, Jessye Norman, Plácido Domingo, Marisa Tomei, Audra McDonald, Denzel Washington, Lenny Kravitz, Samuel L. MUSIC: Lisa’s Music work includes almost every genre specializing in Opera, Jazz, Standards, Broadway, R&B, Hip Hop, Latin, Disco, Dance, House, and more; photographing all stage venues from Cabarets to Concerts to Clubs. She also specializes in CD release parties/events with signings, performances, and promotion. She has photographed literally thousands of the most influential, important, famous, and legendary singers, musicians, songwriters, composers, mixers, DJs, and producers of our time. Her music bio is extremely extensive.

THEATRE: Lisa’s Theatre work includes countless Broadway and Off-Broadway productions including the House Photographer for The 66th Annual 2012 Tony Award winning and Grammy nominated Broadway production The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess starring six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald; and the 2012 production of A Streetcar Named Desire starring Blair Underwood. In 2013, she was the House Photographer for the Tony nominated play The Trip to Bountiful starring Tony Award winner Cicely Tyson, Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding, Jr., Grammy Award winner Vanessa Williams, and Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad; serving as Cicely Tyson’s private photographer. In 2016, she is currently the House Photographer for the Broadway production of Eclipsed starring Lupita Nyong’o. In addition she has photographed every major New York Theatre Awards including the Audelco Awards, Outer Critics Circle Awards, Drama Desk Awards, and the Tony Awards.

LITERARY: Lisa has photographed some of the most influential and talented people in literature. Her work includes photographing book release events with signings, panel discussions, and author (s) speeches. She covers literary & lecture events of all kinds; book awards, literary galas, discussions, book tours, and more. She has photographed for the late great legend Dr. Maya Angelou, and has continued photographing for her son, Guy Johnson, grandson Colin Johnson, and family. She routinely photographs legend Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison, publishing countless photo-articles. Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison is a Pulitzer Prize winner, has won every major literary award worldwide, and is the December 7, 1993 recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature (only 110 writers have received this honor, only 13 are women, only 2 are from the United States of America, and only 1 is African-American: Noble Laureate Dr. Toni Morrison). She has photographed countless other authors, writers, poets, playwrights, and journalists.
