BERNIE SANDERS: A Future to Believe In Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York rally with special guest speakers Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Danny DeVito, Jamaican Reggae star Tanya Stephens, Hip Hop group EPMD (“Erick and Parrish Making Dollars“), Brooklyn band Grizzy Bear, Council Member Jumaane D. Williams, and many more, Sunday, April 19, 2016.

Senator Bernie Sanders has held countless rallies and events since the the Democratic Party presidential candidate traveled to his home state New York on March 31st kicking off his campaign for the New York Democratic presidential primary.  The rallies were throughout New York City boroughs and New York State. It began with an historically South Bronx rally with 18,500, actual number 22,00o with overflow. It was followed by a rally in front of his childhood home in Brooklyn and Coney Island. On Wednesday, April 13th another historic and massive star-studded rally took place in Washington Square Park, New York with a record breaking 27,000 in attendance. His next stop was April 14th at the National Action Network (NAN) convention hosted by Rev. Al Sharpton; Friday, April 15th he spoke at The Vatican with an invitation he received from the Pope, meeting the Pope briefly in the next morning April 18th; Saturday, April 18th when he returned to New York he made a stop at an Art Gallery featuring artwork inspired by Bernie followed by a visit to the First Unitarian Congregational Society church, Brooklyn for a multiracial roundtable with Dr. Cornell West, Linda Sarsour, and more.

Sunday, April 19th at Prospect Park, Brooklyn rally with guest speakers Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Danny DeVito, Council Member Jumaane D. Williams, and many more was his biggest yet. It even surpassed Washington Square Park’s outstanding 27,000 with a counted total of 28,356. Both Washington Square Park and Prospect Park were the biggest rallys in political history. Musical guests included Jamaican Reggae star Tanya Stephens, Hip Hop group EPMD (“Erick and Parrish Making Dollars“), and Brooklyn band Grizzy Bear.
