The 44th annual AUDELCO Awards Nominees, 2015-2016 Season by Photojournalist Lisa Pacino

The 44th annual AUDELCO Awards will be held at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space, New York, Monday, November 21, 2016 to celebrate the 2015-2016 season. The Audience Development Committee, Inc., was established in 1973 by the late Vivian Robinson to honor excellence in New York African American Theatre (aka “the Viv awards”); recognizing Broadway and off-Broadway. The 2015-16 awards will include Co-Hosts George Faison, Alyson Williams, and Kenny J. Seymour; Honorary Co-Chair Mary Wilson; Grace L. Jones- President of AUDELCO, Inc.; Rome Neal- media committee chair; Phylicia Rashād, Tessa Thompson, Tamara Tunie, Maurice Hines, Kenny Leon, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Colman Domingo, Nathaniel Stampley, Jason Dirden, Lydia Diamond, Danai Gurira, Liesl Tommy, Montego Glover, Lee Summers, Terry Burrell, Tina Fabrique, Jeff Calhoun, Joe Morton, and more.

Its current Board of Directors includes Ralph Carter as First Vice-President, Toni Peterson as Second Vice President, Jacqueline Jeffries as Secretary, and Members Linda Armstrong, A.
