Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise. The first feature documentary about the incomparable Dr. Maya Angelou; released October 4, 2016. The film is set to premiere on PBS American Masters February 21, 2017.

The documentary is about the remarkable writer, poet, actress, and activist. It features interviews with Dr. Maya Angelou (archive footage), Oprah Winfrey, Diahann Carroll, Cicely Tyson, Alfre Woodard, Quincy Jones, Valerie Simpson, Lou Gossett, Jr., Nikki Giovanni, Common, President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, John Singleton, and Dr. Angelou’s son, Guy Johnson. The film is directed by Bob Hercules and Rita Coburn Whack.
