Lenny Kravitz to Honor PRINCE at Rock Hall Induction Ceremony with Alicia Keys and More, Brooklyn, NY 2017 by Photojournalist Lisa Pacino

Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys, and Pharrell are among the performers and presenters scheduled to appear at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York, April 7, 2017.

Lenny Kravitz will perform a special tribute to Prince, while Alicia Keys, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and the Indigo Girls will also perform. Pharrell is set to present Chic’s Nile Rodgers with the Award for Musical Excellence. Dhani Harrison, the son of George and Olivia Harrison, will induct Electric Light Orchestra— ELO’s Jeff Lynne was a longtime friend and collaborator of George Harrison, Train’s Pat Monahan will induct Journey, and Snoop Dogg is set to induct his late friend Tupac Shakur. In January, presenters for the rest of the 2017 Rock Hall class were announced, with Jackson Browne inducting Joan Baez, Neil Young inducting Pearl Jam, and Rush’s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson inducting Yes. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will air on HBO April 29, 2017 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Prior a special exhibit dedicated to the 2017 class will open at the Rock Hall in Cleveland, Ohio on March 31, 2017.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will begin with a tribute to legend Chuck Berry (October 18, 1926 – March 18, 2017).
